Housed inside the historic, 15 story Beaux Arts-style Tennessee Trust building is downtown Memphis' best and most exciting boutique hotel - The Hu.

Just a 5 minute walk to Beale Street and featuring 110 rooms, a cafe, restaurant, banquet hall, conference room and a rooftop bar with views of the Mighty Mississippi, there is no shortage of things to do at the Hu. Impeccably designed to reflect the historic, eclectic and funky nature of Memphis, the Hu. has been named the #1 Hotel in the South, #10 in the USA and #24 in the world by Conde Nast. It was also recognized by Architectural Digest as one of nine historical hotels that have "undergone a spectacular upgrade".

We were tasked with the enviable job of creating a uniform program that captured the historic soul of this building, while also reflecting the uniquely modern and fresh style of the hotel design itself.

Upon arrival, you're greeted by a concierge who is at once sharply dressed, yet still relaxed and informal. This dichotomy is achieved by wearing our Japanese-workwear inspired unstructured navy blazer on top of our banded collar white oxford.  

Heading up to the roof, you'll find the staff in custom graphic tees, featuring some of our favorite iconography we've worked with to-date.
