Brand & Apparel Designer
Full Time | U.S. Remote / Hybrid (Chicagoland Preferred)
$60,000–$80,000 annually
Stock Mfg. designs and manufactures elevated uniforms, branded apparel, merchandise, and custom products for leading hospitality brands, including Hilton, Four Seasons, Delta, Hyatt, Alinea, and Lettuce Entertain You.
We’re looking for a versatile designer with exceptional taste, strong graphic-design skills, and real aesthetic range.
Working directly with our Creative Director, you’ll interpret everything from detailed brand books to logos, references, and loosely defined ideas—developing thoughtful first-pass concepts, graphics, color stories, accessories, branded details, and polished client presentations before collaboratively refining the direction.
The key question behind the role is simple: What should this brand look like as apparel and merchandise?
We need someone who can answer that differently for a luxury resort, independent restaurant, playful event, or corporate workforce—not apply the same aesthetic to everything.
What You’ll Do
-
Develop uniform and merchandise concepts
-
Create original graphics, apparel artwork, and branded details
-
Extend established brands thoughtfully into apparel, merchandise, graphics, and physical products
-
Build polished presentations, mood boards, mockups, and AI-assisted visuals
-
Design supporting materials such as catalogs, brochures, packaging, templates, and sales collateral
-
Collaborate with product development to bring concepts into production
-
Balance big-picture creative thinking with the practical work required to make ideas real
What We’re Looking For
-
An exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgment and meaningful aesthetic range
-
Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
-
Strong typography, composition, color, layout, and presentation-design abilities
-
Experience in apparel, graphic design, branding, merchandise, hospitality, consumer products, or a related field
-
Comfort using AI creative tools as part of a professional workflow
-
Curiosity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and a willingness to tackle unfamiliar problems
-
Someone equally comfortable developing the idea and executing the details
A traditional fashion-design background is not required. We care more about your portfolio, taste, range, creative judgment, and how you think.
