FAQ
Q: Do you have a retail location?
We have an appointment-only showroom in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, at 2737 W Diversey Ave. Contact us at info@stockmfgco.com to make an appointment.
Q: What kinds of brands do you work with?
Glad you asked! We work with hundreds of the top hotels, restaurants, bars, real estate developers, airlines, and cannabis dispensaries in the country. Take a look here to see a selection! Click here to see a selection.
Q: So, is my cafe/bar/restaurant/shop too small to partner with you?
Not at all! We offer robust custom solutions for big companies, but we also have in-stock, no-minimum products that are available to ship right now on the website. And we can work with you to add your logo, if you want! Reach out to learn more about our custom products or browse our in-stock items here.
Q: Do you manufacture for other brands?
Not at this time — sorry!
Q: Will my purchase shrink?
We pre-launder every garment to reduce the risk of shrinkage. Every item is different, though, and some items will shrink more than others, depending on the fabric.
Drying something on high heat tends to shrink a garment more than drying on low, or hang drying. Before washing, make sure you check to see if a garment is dry-clean only. And we’d suggest telling your staff this as well if they’re responsible for laundering their own uniforms.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
We sure do! All international orders are shipped via DHL. Please note that some countries will charge the recipient customs taxes and other additional fees. We offer solutions from individual parcel to large bulk order shipping.
Q: What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, with the tags still on. You’ll be refunded in full, but the cost of shipping the return is the customers responsibility.
Q: Do you still manufacture in America?
Yes, but not exclusively. We still manufacture nearly all of our aprons in Chicago.
We began manufacturing more overseas starting in late 2018, as our business shifted primarily to workwear. We needed access to factories with larger scalability, as well as lower prices in order to be competitive in our market.
Q: So…is your quality worse now?
Not at all! In fact, we've seen upticks in quality in our core shirts (oxfords and chambrays).
Quality is driven primarily by using good textiles, high-end machines and skilled labor. We are working with specialized factories with extremely high levels of quality control.
Our products may be a bit less expensive, but there is no decrease in the quality!
