Old No. 77 Hotel x Stock Mfg.

Housed in a former tobacco and coffee warehouse just three blocks from the French Quarter, The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery has all the features of a trendy boutique hotel, while remaining quintessentially New Orleans.

As part of an overall partnership with Provenance Hotels, we were asked to redesign Old No. 77’s front desk uniforms.

mockups

Our task with Old 77 (and Provenance as a whole) was to create something fresh and unique, while remaining approachable. Also, importantly, Provenance leadership wanted us to make sure we kept logistics in mind - easy re-ordering, cross-position capabilities, and scalability across the portfolio. As an operations-minded business, this was music to our ears. We find that even the best uniform programs end up falling apart due to logistical issues like long lead times or high MOQ’s for custom items, high prices, or an inability to scale as the portfolio grows.

We outfitted the front desk staff in a custom garment dyed charcoal chore coat, paired with a short sleeve ivory henley and khaki stretch chinos

The modern tailoring and quality materials give this classic workwear style a more elevated look, and all items are easily machine washable and wear well even if they’re a bit rumpled. Furthermore, the henley and khakis work great together on their, if the notorious NOLA summer days get too hot.
